TBT

Throwback to that season of life when we watched a lot of big sister’s running pursuits. Rather, watched them all leave…waited a very long time…and finally watched them come back. This photo says so much about us, then and now! Via:: DCD Facebook Page

Generation Z Takeover!

Emily arrived in Washington with 20% of a voice, so it was Zoe Ziegler to the rescue! Five years of attending mom’s shows finally paid off, because she knew all the words and all the harmonies. With only two hours of rehearsal–ever–having never rehearsed with us before, she did an amazing job as Emily’s vocal stand in. Huge thanks to Douglas County Daughters’ honorary daughter! And extra special thanks to Mrs. Alyce Dreewes for capturing this extra special occasion so beautifully!Alexa’s Cafe (May 2015)Emily arrived in Washington with 20% of a voice, so it was Zoe Ziegler to the rescue! Passing The Time

When we were kids, we used to play the piano to pass the time…waiting for a friend to come over, waiting for the rest of the family to get ready to go somewhere, waiting for the rain to stop, etc. So today I picked up my banjolele to wait for my family before heading out. I’m getting better, but not quite ready for prime time.
